It is quite strange to listen to different electronic music and somehow, while browsing the internet, you always end up to this track. But what can you say. It is an amazing one.

Nicolas Godin – The Border
Does this track make you think of Air? That is normal. Nicolas Godin is one half of the music duo Air. He gives us here a soothing and hopeful track with a hypnotizing music video.
I Break Horses – Neon Lights
This post is sponsored by technicolour (not officially of course ^^). Maria Lindén, half of I Break Horses, explains that this track is “an anthem for all of us who have ever felt like we didn’t fit in. It is trying to give a glimpse of hope to all outsiders who feel like they can’t find their way and to show the world that being a ‘misfit’ is a beautiful thing, not something to be pushed aside“. Hope is a dangerous thing, but it is definitely something we need.
Mark Lanegan Special
After the post of Mark Lanegan I did previously, and because it’s my blog and I do what I want 😜, I decided to share with you five tracks featuring him. To avoid a too long post, I will just insert the YouTube links. Don’t worry, it will open in a new tab so you can keep browsing tracksdiscovery. I hope you will enjoy.
- UNKLE – Looking For The Rain: A great electro track from UNKLE with dark vibes.
- Martyn LeNoble & Christian Eigner – Cat People (Putting Out Fire): A David Bowie cover featuring also Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode).
- Christine Owman – Familiar Act: A cello and Mark’s voice is always a good combo.
- Brian Reitzell – In the Pines: This Nirvana cover was taken from American Gods’ soundtrack.
- Martina Topley-Bird – Crystalised: Cover of the famous track from the XX.
Sonic Boom – Just Imagine
Sonic Boom (aka Peter Kember) is back. What? You don’t him? Don’t worry, I didn’t either but he has been playing for a while. He was a member of the 80s band Spacemen 3, and released an solo album shortly after Spacemen 3 disbanded. Since then, he worked for instance with Beach House on their album 7 (worth listening to even though I haven’t covered it on my blog 😉 ). Sonic Boom’s new album will be released in June 2020.
