Norman Palm – Boy’s Don’t Cry

Don’t get me wrong here. I love Robert Smith’s voice and the Cure in general. This song gives it another atmosphere though, making it more emotional. My favourite part? The myspace link in the description of the video hahaha.

The Mechanisms – Odin

This track is taken from the The Mechanism’s album “The Bifrost Incident” which is an adaptation of Norse mythology. Listen to the whole album below to “uncover the mysteries of the Bifrost, as inspector Lyfrassir Edda combs through the recordings of its first and last journey. No-one knows what happened to the Asgardian delegation that set out on that inaugural trip 80 years ago, but we can be certain that something went very badly wrong…

Avriel & The Sequoias – Fields And Pier

Avi Kaplan is a former member of Pentatonix who left in 2017 for his solo career. After singing a cappella, we now find him singing some folk music. This track is taken from his first solo album “Sage and Stone” released as Avriel & The Sequoias. I haven’t listened to much of his songs so far, but I can definitely recommend the epic track “Change on the Rise” taken from his upcoming album where you can hear again his deep voice. Both tracks are great. “Fields And Pier” is to chill on a Sunday. “Change on the rise” is more to go riding a horse and fighting gods, and definitely could be the opening track of the series “True Detective”.

Emily Jane White – Washed Away

This one is for the fans of Chelsea Wolf and Emma Ruth Rundle. “Washed Away” is taken from her new album “Immanent Fire”. Let her songs and her soft voice lull you. If you liked the song, here is the album:
