Les Morts – Hurt

There had been good and bad covers of “Hurt” from Nine Inch Nails. Probably, the most famous one is Johnny Cash’s cover. Here, Les Morts gives us a nice alternative to the Nine Inch Nails and Johnny Cash versions with a more gothic sound. You may see it as Nine Inch Nails x Depeche Mode.

Sleeping Children – Lullabies for Debauchery

I came across this Parisian deathrock band serendipitously and discovered they are not active anymore (sad emoji). This band made me think of some deathrock/goth bands I used to listen like Cinema Strange (loved the peculiar voice of the singer) and Specimen (and yes, I do still like their look and their music). The music genre is also sometimes referred as batcave probably in reference to the 80s London Club “The Batcave” which was popular among the goth subculture.

Some of my favourite tracks are: “Lili’s dead” and “Poppies screen the light”.

So go in your wardrobe, dress in shades of black, put some eyeliner on, and let’s wander into the night.

Shad Shadows – Nocturnal

Welcome in the dancefloor where people dressed in black are dancing underground with their sunglasses on. I guess we could just put the records on and let it play the whole night while we sweat on the dancefloor.
