The rock band from Toronto was back in early 2019 with their 3rd album. Let me share with you their single “Kill Appeal” and its heavy atmosphere. I especially enjoy the distortion coming at 1’47 which leads you into madness.

Pointe Noire – Turn Summer Into Falls
“Turn Summer Into Falls” is a simple but efficient rock song from Pointe Noire, a band from Paris. Unfortunately his track can’t be found in their 2019’s EP “Wild Child” (maybe later on a LP?) which is a bit more uptempo than this track (if you would prefer something faster than this track). Jennie Vee – Die Alone
In this track, guitars chime and Jennie’s voice will send you into a dream.
A came across Jennie Vee quite recently with her 2014 EP “Die Alone”. Little did I know that she already released two LPs: “Spying” in 2015 and “Suffer” in 2017. She is also currently the bass player of Eagle of Death Metal during their lives.

Charly Bliss – Young Enough
Oh oh oh Merry Christmas and happy holiday to you all.
Today, I want to share with you one of my favourite band of 2019: Charly Bliss. They released their second album in spring 2019 and I’m so happy to have been able to see them live in Paris. They played some songs of this album, which still wasn’t released at the time, and a cover of “Mr Brightside”. It definitely was the best 2019 concert I went to. So much happiness, so much joy.
I definitely enjoy this album. I love the pressure building in “Blown To Bits”, the electro touch of “Capacity”, the lively beat of “Under You”, the short but powerful “Fighting In The Dark” , the bass line in “Young Enough”…I won’t comment the lyrics and will let you discover them and enjoy the album.
Refused – New Noise
I came across this song while watching “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”. I was sure I already heard it but could not pinpoint where or when.
