Holon – A New Sun Rises

Mark Rydyger, aka Holon, gives us this EP not even a month after the release of his album “Trust the Machine”. I must say that I haven’t listened to the album yet, but if this EP is a made of tracks dismissed for the full length album, then I can’t wait to listen to it.

Listen to it while walking into the dumps of Los Angeles 2128 filled with pollution, trash and flying cars…Or just while running into the night.

Petit Biscuit – Sunset Lover

I really like this track but I was really confused at first though. When I heard it, the intro made me think of Metronomy… I was quickly proven wrong. Did you also have the same feeling?

Azari & III – Into The Night (Nicolas Jaar Remix)

Imagine sipping wine in a cozy bar in Paris, enjoying your drink and relaxing after a day of work. Now imagine this track kicking in, putting you in a nice chill and dancing mood. You start to blur all the noise around you to focus on the music. What do you do? You ask the waitress which song is it of course ^^. True story.

The Age of Steam – Clockwork Toys

Karl Clews is a bass player I am following on YouTube. One day, out of nowhere, he published this gem saying “‘The Age Of Steam’ is a pseudonym I use for these kinds of ‘miscellaneous’ side projects, to distinguish them from my bass-oriented material”. I don’t know what you felt while listening to it (feel free to share in the comments) but I definitely love it (especially when the guitar kicks in) and I am looking forward the next tracks. I can’t really describe what I feel though, but there is definitely happiness in it. I also really enjoyed the music video.

Shad Shadows – Nocturnal

Welcome in the dancefloor where people dressed in black are dancing underground with their sunglasses on. I guess we could just put the records on and let it play the whole night while we sweat on the dancefloor.
