The New Division – Hidden Memories

Los Angeles-based electronic musician and producer John Glenn Kunkel, aka The New Division, gives us again a great album. 5 years after his last LP, and 2 years after the appreciated EP “Fader”, Kunkel comes back with “10 tracks ranging from dark and brooding to emotive and uplifting

OSICA – Aux enfants perdus

Let’s be honest. This blog is mainly shoegaze or alternative oriented. But it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy other music genre as the most loyal of you may have noticed. Today, we are back with electronic music. We talked about synthwave or more house music before. Now let’s dive into techno music with Osica. This track was released in a 7″ EP on Ego Twister, a record label which no longer exists (sad emoji).

EZ3kiel – Volfoni

Do you also feel the tension in this track? And it’s just the first one…it makes you wonder what might come in the other tracks. I think it’s great for opening the album and it could definitely be part of a movie soundtrack.

This French band was first named Ezekiel in reference to the fake Biblical quote from Pulp Fiction, before changing it to EZ3kiel.

Georgia – Seeking Thrills

At first, I was gonna share with you only one track from Georgia. Then I listened to her album once…twice…by the time I was writing this, I was already playing it for the third time of the day. So I thought it would be better to share it with you. It is a nice electro pop album which was released at the beginning of 2020. My favourite tracks? “Feel it”, “Started out”, and “Never let you go (alternative version)”.

Daso – Meine

Here is some nice house music from the German DJ Daso. Even though the official video of this track is worth watching (a guy dancing for 7+ minutes in the street forward and in reverse), I chose to share with you this more contemplative video which fits better the track.
